There is several references on this forum to the 71 million who voted for Trump. I remember the great number of the population in Germany and Italy voted for a authoritarian regime in their countries and look what that got them.

The point is quite clear. Any president winning California and NY will almost always win the popular vote going forward . They both allow the Democrat candidate to begin the election 5-6 million votes ahead of the republican

Well you're assuming since I don't support Trump that I'm far left. I am not. I would also never vote for people like Bernie, Warren, or AOC. But unfortunately with how politics is viewed today you're either for Trump or a communist.
I'll tell you that I've voted for members of both parties. I would put myself as a moderate on the political spectrum. But where I draw the line is supporting a guy that throws our intelligence community under the bus right in front of Putin in Helsinki, a guy that attacks a POW war hero even after he has passed, a guy that calls fallen troops suckers, a guy that wants to plant the seeds of doubt in the minds of his supporters because he can't deal with the fact that he lost an election etc.
I can go on for days with all of the disgusting things that this man has done. And while I will thank you for your service as well I will also wonder to myself why, as a veteran, are you OK with this draft dodging clown speaking this way about our intel guys/POWs/KIAs? Why as a veteran are you ok with this man telling the whole world that we don't have fair elections? Why as a veteran are OK with this man refusing to participate in a peaceful transfer of power as has been one of the great traditions of this country since the founding? This is not about things like healthcare or tax policy for me. This is about a man that has taken a huge shit all over the norms/traditions that make this country great/unique. So you can talk about left and right all you want. There is absolutely nothing conservative about this piece of shit. Nothing.

You want to bitch about California and NY being reliable for democratic candidate so why don't we apply the same standard for the reliable states that are reliable for Republican candidates? It's a simple question. You want to discount the reliable blue states but you sing a different tune when it comes to red states. Why is that?
