Bubba was a prototype TE, big athletic and with excellent hands. Totaled 77 catches for 1038 yards and 12 TD. Was a first round pick and is inducted in the UM sports hall of fame.

Late TD against FSU launched a two year run including 61 catches for 815 yards and 10 TD. He did that in 21 games, with 11 starts.
