We lost 5 American service members this week from a helicopter crash in Egypt and not a word from him. The day after Veterans Day And no condolences not a word in public from him other than now trashing Fox News on Twitter. Bad look for him and disappointing as someone whose father fought in Vietnam for this country and someone who voted for him.

for someone who thinks this election rigged and he will be acting president in January he is acting like he has lost and doing nothing except crying on Twitter. You are still president act like it, pretty pathetic last 8 days IMO.

I agree to a point. Every elected official believes getting elected is the best thing that can happen for the country. However there are public officials, when given a clear choice to benefitting the country and benefitting themselves, they would make the choice of the country.
With out a doubt Trump has, and will continue to choose himself. His refusal to accept the reality of a clear election loss and refusal to act as President while he
wallows in self pity only underlines this.

Dont quite agree with this. look at the way Biden handled the sickness and death of John McCain. Support, empathy for John and all his family ....even though they were political rivals. He didn’t do this for political advantage. Just human to human kindness.

Empathy is a critical characteristic of leadership and Trump has literally none. When he had raging COVID, he was more than happy to put his own secret service agents at risk for a cheap joyride photo-op, and now there are dozens of agents who have COVID. In Trump's world everything is either an obstacle or a stepping stone towards self-aggrandizement, including America itself.

He is lame duck but he is commander in chief. It's his responsibility to address the American people regarding such matters. All this stuff about look at this guy or look at that guy is just a false equivalence. That stuff isn't material.

What we have started doing the last four years is adopt a culture where we have an excuse for everything. It's always well, look at this guy or look at that guy. What about the media or what about this group of people. We have got to turn this culture around because frankly it makes us the laughing stock of the world. Anyone who knows this guy's history ain't surprised or disappointed at all. It's who he is and who he's been for decades, nothing new. He's a master, self absorbed con artist who is REALLY showing his true colors now. Republicans have been bamboozled, led astray, run amuck, sold a bill of goods and flat out hoodwinked by Agent Orange.

He was masterful however, in how he chose to secure their vote in 2016. I give him props for that. He changed his party affiliation from Dem to Rep to run for President. It’s a game to him, a prize a trophy and he USED right wingers to get him that. He could care less about them.
Now that he no longer needs republicans for support does he change back to a registered Dem? He gave Pres Clinton millions and supported him when he was in office. Went to their fund raisers had dinner with them all to gain in his personal business. He’s loyal to no one but himself. Sheep are to dumb to see that.
