Coward. He deserved to die. He was guilty of multiple murders and thought he was above the law because he could catch a football.

Lets not forget he is all ready serving a life sentence for MURDER. So yes stone cold killer.
Maybe he just came to realize that all that money and life style he wasted by wanting to continue his gang ties and ways. Some times you need to know when to cut ties with certain people and ways. living the lavish lifestyle and then going into a cell for the rest of your life was just to much for him. I guess he wasn't the man he thought he was.
I would almost go as far as a thank you to Hernandez for not wasting anymore tax payer money. To bad more life term murderers don't have this motivation.

Are you saying he is being charged with any other murders? Because he was found not guilty in the double homicide, I'm pretty sure, and also read that this am. But I agree with you. A lot of kids come In with gang affiliations but somewhere along the way they get out and grow up. Hernandez was a minority.

He was already convicted of murder in Gainesville and serving a life sentence. He was acquitted of additional charges for murders in Boston.

He is in prison on a murder charge already serving life. The one he was found not guilty on was a second trial for a different case.

I was raised as a Catholic until I let my Mom know I didn't believe in Jesus or a god. No matter how many time she spanked me. I have never questioned what my Mom believes in or what any other person believes in. If you don't believe you should be the first person not to pass judgment on people. Agreed with this 100%. @caneballza was wrong in attacking people of faith for no reason.
But as a person raised in a Christian household, it amazes me how quickly people that should be of faith, a faith that at it's core has one basic teaching of "Love one another", are so quick to fight, take arms and spew hate. Whatever happened to turning the other cheek? Sometimes I feel that people that rush to defend the book never took the time to read it.

When attacked most people not matter if they are religious or not will get defensive. I just think why would someone put that out unless they were trying to provoke people? And as someone who has been attacked for not believing in religion. There is no reason to attack people or question why they believe. Also I have asked the same question about turning the other cheek. But people are still human and react when attacked.
Well like Karl Marx said: "religion... is the opiate of the masses." Most of these masses have their faith so twisted in the wrong way they end up abandoning all that said religions values. Which is why it's pure sham and is just sad. Same thing is happening in Middle East and why little kids are now getting killed by Sarin attacks.
Sad thing. I never felt it was my place to really get into the religious side of this. I respect everyone's right to believe in what they want to believe in...or not. Hernandez to me just wasn't a good person. Obviously needed help he didn't seek. Seems based on what I have read about this, it goes back to his childhood. He wasted a great opportunity to use his gift to have a great life. I find this sad more than anything. I was just never the type of person to hate people I don't even know.
