Makes sense but the timing is still a little odd. You'd think after the acquittal he'd be in his highest spirits since being arrested. Also, someone as defiant as Hernandez wouldn't be the type I'd peg to give up, but the dude was crazy.Speculation is that his money dried up after his latest trial so he knew he would never be able to fight his first conviction......
Or that NFL insurance could be available for his daughterwonder if he couldn't live with himself or karma caught up with him?
Sad thing. I never felt it was my place to really get into the religious side of this. I respect everyone's right to believe in what they want to believe in...or not. Hernandez to me just wasn't a good person. Obviously needed help he didn't seek. Seems based on what I have read about this, it goes back to his childhood. He wasted a great opportunity to use his gift to have a great life. I find this sad more than anything. I was just never the type of person to hate people I don't even know.
I don't normally use the word hate for people I dislike but this guy was a POS. The part that bothered me the most was the arrogance he displayed about his crimes. He felt he had a right to do what he did. He got what he deserved!!
We all talk smack on this site but for me when people are mistreated or harmed as Hernandez did I have no sympathy. There you go! Nice post Cems!
In Gainesville? He was already convicted of murder in Gainesville and serving a life sentence. He was acquitted of additional charges for murders in Boston.
