I just looked up recruiting on Rivals right now... None of these teams are "plundering" South Florida (Monroe-Dade-Broward-Palm Beach counties) talent.
(1) Clemson - ZERO guys committed from South Florida
(2) LSU - 1 guy, a 3-star OL
(3) Alabama - 1 guy, a 4-star WR (dime a dozen position)
(4) Ohio State - ZERO guys committed from South Florida
(5) Texas - ZERO guys committed from South Florida
(6) Georgia - 1 guy, a 4-star WR (dime a dozen position)
(7) Michigan - ZERO guys committed from South Florida
(8) Florida State - 3 guys, a 4-star DB, a 3-star OL, and a 4-star RB (in-state school, understood)
(9) The U - 8 guys out of 23... Class looks okay so far, room for improvement.
So help me out here... Not a recruiting guru... To where are all these top South Florida guys defecting...? It''s only September- does the mass defection take place later in the year...? I wake up one morning and "Boom", they're all gone wearing the school's hat of their choice...? After the season...? Bowl games...? I see a s**t ton of undecided high caliber talent in South Florida.
