You could and probably will make arguments for a number of other QB's that I've left out. I've limited myself to 4 and with the 1 back offense I'm running, chose those that I feel fit the best. In alphabetical order.

Ken Dorsey-9565 pass yds, 86 td's, #1 total offense. Maxwell, 2xBaugh, 2xGriffin, 193 pass w/o int. NC 01
Jim Kelly-5228 pass yds, 32 td's, 5352 total o, PFHOF.
Vinny Testaverde-6058 pass yds, 48 td's. Heisman, Maxwell, O'Brien. 63.4%com. in '86.CFHOF. #14retired.
Gino Torretta-7690 pass yds, 47 tds's, 7722 TO. Heisman, Maxwell, O'Brien, Unitas CFHOF NC 91

It would be quite hard to pick a starter out of this group. Dorsey while having a weak arm had no trouble completing passes all over the field and rivals any QB in football IQ. It's not hard to imagine what Kelly could have accomplished with the better talent the others played with. Vinny may be underrated by many Cane fans and deserves the knocks for the bowl game losses, however possessed as much or more arm talent then any other QB in history and played 21 seasons in the NFL. Gino knew how to use the immense talent around him.
