Wohl is a twenty year old who’s still wet behind the ears. Michel Avenatti is a practicing lawyer and potential democratic presidential nominee. Both pulled same stunt why no outrage for Avenatti ?
They are two completely different situations. In Avenatti's case, Grassely "thinks" he and his client were lying and has recommended DOJ investigate, which seems like a dumb move given that if the DOJ happen to accept Grassley's request, it would force the FBI into investigating Kavanaugh's involvement in the entire matter (something they conspicuously didn't do before given the tight 7 day timeline they were given).
In Wohl's case, he and Burkman are already busted as evidenced by the fact that their plot has already been sent to the feds for investigation.

They have to use alleged if there is no conviction yet. They would say alleged even if they have a shooter on tape killing a bank teller.
The allegation here is just as solid. There is evidence that backs up a woman's claim that a she was approached to do this.
