Any bourbon drinkers?

I am a Grand Reserve patron. I actually started going to the small liquor store because Total Wine wouldn’t deliver Blanton’s.
I frequent the Plantation store and if you are there we know each other.

Every holiday season I always buy loved ones in my family various small batch bourbon. Black Ridge Bourbon has become a family favorite. I don't reccommend the Port Barrel, but I think you will definitely find this to be a solid everyday type of Kentucky spirit. Cheers!

I’m drinking a Manhattan right this moment using Woodford Reserve. I prefer Bourbon in mixed drinks rather than for sipping.

For sipping, I prefer Scotch, particularly the peaty style from Islay. Laphroig and Lagavulin are my go to favorites. I also like to sip Tequila. Current favorites are the Don Julio Anejo 70, the claro style of aged tequillas. Dobel Maestro Diamante is a similar style at a lower price point.

I have Knob Creek 12 in my bar. I was told that 15 is head and shoulders above, any thoughts?

I’ve never had the 15. Currently sipping a Whistle Pig 10 Year. Started with Woodford. Pappy 20 is the holy grail and I’ve had it once. Good memory.

Agreed........Turkey 101 is a very underrated Bourbon. Put it in a glass without anyone knowing what they have and they will rave about the rich Bourbon flavor. I like it a lot, and I've had some of the best. Weller 12 is my favorite though

You can come to my restaurant and try pretty much any of these whiskey. (Shameless plug) the vineyard wine company in Lake Mary aka heathrow. Awesome conversation and food too. We also have 450+ wine labels and a decent beer list as well.

I started drinking bourbon or at least whiskey at the orange bowl tailgates many years ago with royal crown that was the drink of choice. I have been expanding my palate and for the first time today, as I type I am drinking Russell’s Reserve Bourbon Small Batch Select. I am impressed, any other suggestions.

I used to work in retail till May 2020. Gentleman Jack was an extremely good seller. Its a high end Bourbon. I dont drink much, I have an occasional shot of single malt scotch whiskey
