Team does not have enough talent to win when it isnt playing as hard as it can.Easy game last week ,this team took CMU lightly Bad coaching decisions leaving Nelson on an Island and not chipping with a rb or TE weren't very smart. I noticed that John Campbell came in at LT and played better than Nelson .
I remember the greatest college team of all time was only up by 5 in the final minutes at BC with BC in the Red Zone until the Ed Reed Miracle sealed it. Old Dominion is going to to toe with Virginia and leading 17-7 late in the first half. You can get beat if you are not sharp in today's college football..
I dont think we are as bad as we showed today. But were not nearly as good as we should be. We lost 66-0 in the Orange Dome under Butch and then came back the next weak and beat a highly ranked UCLA. team.
This team needs a spark .Hopefully going against ACC competition at home could be it. Its difficult to think about the alternative.
