Congrats to my #22 SMU Mustangs and Larry Brown for winning the AAC Regular Season. MORE IMPORTANTLY for THE U, SMU's win came at Frank Haith and Tulsa's expense, which means The U inches closer to the "Last Four In" category. Tulsa was right on the bubble, and Tulsa's loss to SMU only HELPS Coach L and the Canes try to get in the NCAA Tournament. Surely, Coach L and the boys will need one more SOLID WIN in the ACC Conference Tournament, and possibly a quarterfinals appearance in the process, but a little help along the way in the form of other bubble teams losing is GREATLY APPRECIATED. lol.
Really hope Coach L and the team can earn an NCAA Tournament bid, because they have shown glimpses of brilliant basketball this season, and are capable of beating high quality teams, like we saw against Duke.
