My take on Lets Go Brandon, a saying coming from the Cool Kids Conservative Club, is a method of expressing displeasure with POTUS Biden. Its fine to criticize the POTUS. You are allowed to, although I would prefer actual criticism than some juvenile chant. I do find it kind of funny when the same folks walking around for the last 5 years keep saying "all liberals do is say Orange Man Bad' are quite literally chanting something like that. But no one will ever accuse them of being self aware.
The event that happened over the holidays had the Bidens doing one of those tracker things; following Santa's path. There folks calling in. The POTUS and his significant other took the time to talk to this family. At the end of it, the Dad said "Lets Go Brandon." People are taking it a whole bunch of ways. Some people were taking it as the POTUS was just being classy. Others are saying he is a old guy that doesnt know what that means. Others are blaming it on Biden's PR committee not informing him of this massive movement of people saying someone else's name as a smokescreen, whatever. My personal belief is when this started, however long ago, His PR people probably briefed him on it and it was caught on a news feed, this is what was chanted, etc., and with Biden being POTUS and it being so long ago, and with Conservatives having their own sense of humor Biden probably forgot about it; not because Biden is old but because it happened forever ago, its irrelevant. Not a big deal. That would be my guess. As far as a take away from this the only thing I say is "Don't Be Like Jared". Thats the guys who said the slogan to Biden. What Im saying is when there is an opportunity in front of millions of Americans who are going to hear what you are going to say, perhaps you might want to say something a little more valuable than "lets go Brandon." If I were in Jared's shoes and I did that, anytime I thought about what I uttered to the POTUS I would cringe. I would be so embarrassed. I would be ashamed. He had the world watching and could have said anything and had the message reach a million ears but he utters the slogan made famous by THe Cool Kids Conservative Club. Jared couldve plugged the business he is in or his support for something that matters. To me he wasted a giant opportunity. So what we can take away from this is "DON"T BE JARED". If an opportunity presents itself like the one Jared had, dont waste it.
