Trump prepaid his taxes in the US which is why he only paid like $750. That was his filing fee. The media refuses to cover that though.HJ,
Different POV:
* didn’t Trump pay more taxes in China than he did in the US? Yes
* as Senator Sasse said, Trump has betrayed the people of China by doing nothing to help Hong Kongers suffering under Beijing crackdowns on freedoms and completely ignoring the Uigher population who have been put in concentration camps by Beijing. Trump has done zero for these two groups.
Trump tough on China? A myth.

The $750 was his filing fee. He prepaid over $10 million in taxes to IRS. CNN & MSNBC won’t cover just like the Biden Crime Family story.Neither you nor I have seen Trump’s tax return. However, he did not deny the accuracy of the report that he paid $750 total in US income tax.
Who is the blind sheep here?

Dude your source is cnn and or msnbc so spare me that garbage lol. My apologies he paid $5.2 million and found out he overpaid. Like I said $750 for both years were filing fees. There are multiple sources. Google itDon’t think that’s correct. Your source?
Cash, Trump never denied that he only paid $750 to the US.

With all that Chinese money they’re going to owe a lotI’m sure the fake news cartel will be all over this one right @cortez55403 .
That’s absolutely true - of course MSM won’t touch that factTrump prepaid his taxes in the US which is why he only paid like $750. That was his filing fee. The media refuses to cover that though.
No war. But, he could:
* defend the free speech rights of the Houston Rockets executive who said “We stand with Hong Kong.”
* he could stand with Hong Kong by criticizing China’s violation of its treaty with the UK on the timing of Chinese control of this city.
* he could criticize Chinese suppression of free speech in Hong Kong
* he could condemn the imprisonment of the Oigur population en masse.
Instead, he does nothing.
Tough on China? Not Trump.

Dude business does a little thing called quarterly estimated taxes. I have already sent in many thousands thru 3 quarters and will do so again after Q4 ends. Then I will take every legitimate deduction I can to lower my final bill. I will make every move possible prior to April 15th to LOWER what I owe the Government including max out on retirement and HSA contributions. Now multiply that times 1000% for a Real Estate Developer. Those are our tax laws and codes and only a fool pays extra.Neither you nor I have seen Trump’s tax return. However, he did not deny the accuracy of the report that he paid $750 total in US income tax.

Because Liberals are stupid that's why. Then change the tax laws... Every corporation in this country takes advantage of the tax laws..
Tell me brainiac why can’t Trump...

Right wing defenders of Trump’s low taxes on this site are pursuing two contradictory lines of argument:
* $750 in taxes is untrue. That’s just his filing fee. He has pre-paid millions in taxes.
vs.
* So what if he only paid $750? Like anybody else, he has taken full advantage of our tax laws.
The first argument makes very little sense. Trump has not denied that his taxes were very low. Filing fee? C’mon. Which commentator or news media source invented this argument? Absurd.
The second argument makes sense to me. Trump has engaged in highly leveraged, highly risky real estate ventures. Several of them failed, allowing him to claim > $1 billion dollars in losses. Those losses have been used to offset profits from other ventures.
This second point is the essence of the NYTimes exposė on Trump’s taxes. (I know you hate the NYT). I read their long and very detailed investigation on his taxes, copies of which they did obtain and publish. They didn’t allege tax fraud. They did allege that he has been a disastrous businessman who has racked up loss after loss on his casinos and golf course developments. He made millions from the apprentice and blew it on golf course and other failed real estate deals.
The Times’ conclusion: Trump’s fraud is convincing his backers that he’s a great businessman who will bring his tremendous skills to our government. He is instead a failed businessman who pays no taxes cuz he’s lost so much money. He has over $400 million of personally guaranteed debt owing to many groups. He can’t pay that debt.
He needs a new gig after he leaves the White House that will generate cash. A book deal? A talk show? Replace Rush on the radio? Rush is near death, after making about $50 million a year on his show. Trump is a logical successor to AM talk radio. It’s a great and lucrative pulpit.
