I don’t have an issue with it but optics make it look like it’s a photo op. It’s his son and I’m sure it meant something to him.
He could tell press this is personal just let me have this PRIVATE moment.
My heart goes out to anyone who loses a child, but to Zeke's point, he knew the cameras would be there. Character is doing the right thing when no one is looking.

If you’ve lost a child I give you my sincere condolences and prayers. I have many friends that have gone through this. Beyond that I can’t become pregnant but I still have some knowledge and opinions about it. I said my problem is Biden using it for political ( Sympathy ) vote.

Mahoney with all do respect, and it gives me only sadness to say what I did, but He made it the issue when in his judgment he decided THAT would benefit him. There is nothing that can be said to a parent who has had that kind of loss, I've been too close to it, my love and heart goes out to all who suffer this loss. Simple research indicates this is a common practice when he visits church, he visits his son, the camera angles and lack of cameras at the actual grave side would suggest a non-photo opp. Applying Occam's Razor to the known facts...
