He needs to not just talk about excellence but he also needs to be an activist for it.... He shouldn't be late to the party, playing politics... Ultimately his inaction will be seen to be a problem. Even if he lacks the authority he should be banging on his desk for change.. Falling behind the curve is damaging to the program. UF and FSU seem to take this more seriously than Blake does.
