Yeah yeah surely this justifies what these people have done Jan 6 huh? Sorry....nobody is comparing looting and burning to threatening our elected officials and murdering the police. Please don't get me wrong though. I completely understand why you feel you need to try this false equivalence. You need to somehow rationalize in your head how you could possibly justify racist domestic terrorist's invading our US state departments without seeming like a racist asshole. The kkk is the laughing stock of any organization. You name me one organization in the country that is more disliked and lacking credibility than the kkk. Not saying that they don’t exist but I will say that they carry zero weight with anything any where other than in their own little worlds that don’t coincide with anyone elses but there own. If you research them which is worth doing since most people living in a civilized society have never come across them in the last twenty years... you’ll find that they’re in 22 states out of fifty acording to us news and are in small groups comprised of 6-50 ppl, mostly just social hate groups hiding under rocks in rural towns with nobody around them that isn’t exactly like them. The more differing opinions/ppl they’re around the more they just coward into irrelevancy.

point is, let’s stop giving the kkk more of a spot light by talking about them. They’re their own worst enemy's. They’re not the big threat in 2021 as far as racial injustice is concerned that you’re trying to give them the platform for. That being said you do have neo nazi groups stemming from prisons around the country that are being funded through narcotics and terror tactics that are growing in power that need to be stopped yesterday. Even the white supremest groups that are growing in numbers and organization don’t want to have anything to do with the kkk due to their reputation of undesirable, irrelevant stereotypes.

my biggest fear is that while people concentrate on the kkk as THE white supremacy organization in one hand, society will completely lose focus on what’s happening in the other hand while several neo nazi groups grow in power. This isn’t the 70’s anymore.

The best way for the devil to do it’s due is to distract while it carries on. The kkk is a mere distraction as to what the real white supremacy organizations are doing and most are not situated in rural podunk towns away from any real harm they can inflict. Look no further than Unforgiven which is a primarily Florida organization and they are organized and have more members in just half the state than the kkk does in the entire country and these are real criminals/terrorists and not just low life's circle jerking hate speech around a fire somewhere you wouldn’t even get off the exit for gas for.
