the quality and depth of coaches Mario has lured to the U. The DNA of our team has changed dramatically for the better. The new hires - Steele, Gattis, Ponce etc -- all have blue chip track records (have both recruited at the highest level and put many guys into the League. Who would not want to come here !!! This is the kind of momentum that the Mario hire created and HATS off to him for absolutely killing it. NOW, we see why the wait for the staff to develop was needed. Mario needed the right guys. And it is to his credit that he has lured these blue chip coaches to the U, poaching coaches from all over to do it. Very exciting... Cant wait for the season -- it's already started !! GO CANES
