None... Apparently, CBS thinks that of the 74 teams which qualify for a Bowl this season, Miami will not be one of them. Now, this is HIGHLY UNLIKELY as far as I am concerned. Talent alone with no head coach should get this team to 6-7 wins and a bowl invite.
I think what is interesting is the RANGE OF PREDICTIONS we have seen. On one hand, we have WELL-RESPECTED guys like Phil Steele thinking that we are a 10-2 type team. On the OTHER HAND, we have a major media outlet in CBS Sports predicting that we WON'T EVEN QUALIFY FOR A BOWL...???
At the end of the season, the truth PROBABLY lies somewhere between 6-6 and 10-2... So, the REAL question then becomes what IS that "middle", so to speak...??? Are we good enough to be a 9-3 team and win the ACC Coastal Division so Golden can save his ass, or will we have a underwhelming 8-4/7-5 and limp into some proverbial [insert cleaning product] bowl, facing some #6 SEC/#5 Big Ten Team... THAT is the TRESHOLD ISSUE, and only the SEASON will tell us.
Don't let these fake trolls acting like Golden Loyalists blind you though, with flashes of fake optimism and songs of kumbaya saying we're bound to be 10-2 or better... That is all bunch of hogwash hogs**t, and history has seen BLIND OPTIMISM come back to bite people square in the ass when they IGNORE THE EVIDENCE, depart from objective analysis, and instead put on the their orange green Cane sunglasses.
