Rightfully deserved prison time. I'm thankful they didn't mess this up cause it was gonna get ugly. Hopefully this sets a standard for accountability for bad law enforcement officers. This is a win for all of America.

The only standard this created was that a conviction is possible when the murder is drawn out, captured on film and the deceased is rendered completely harmless prior to his death.
Hopefully it evolves to justice, but I'll take this bare minimum result for now.

Justice unfortunately is a slow process in regards to our people. But I will accept this slow victory here and I'm glad it wasn't nonexistent as it has been in so many cases. I see a law coming that bans filming the police as a result of this conviction tho. The powers that be don't accept defeat easily.

Exactly, give it another thirty days till some drugged up multi felon that looks different from me resists arrest and gets shot by some derelict cop that should have never been hired in the first place and we see this whole shit happen again. The blm supposedly wanted justice but I’m not so sure. They got it but look what happened in the process. Was it really about justice or just an excuse to turn our country upside down?

why? what does that have to do with anything? I honestly am shocked on the conviction but part of me is sympathetic to the cop. institutional racism impacts everyone.
