Hear me out...
close wins - think 2017 - gave this team a false sense of security. Things were overlooked and less attention to detail was the theme as everyone was too happy that Darryl Langham bailed out the team twice.
now every stone is being overturned. OL, DBs, special teams, coaching, AD etc.
nobody WANTS this but for this team to ever regain its status the entire program needs overhaul.
If done correctly we will be in a better place in a few years.
a few meaningless wins to GT and VT would have made this team 5-2 and everyone would have been talking this program up when in reality we are a paper tiger at this point.
this team will get better but these losses will make sure we don’t overlook any aspect of this program going forward
I’m tired of this wandering in the desert as well, but nothing right now is where it should be.
Fear is a great motivator.
