You are what your record says you are. You are what you show on the field. Everything else is hype. For the 16th year in a row I drank the Kool-aid. Every year the U has found a way to to suck us in to buy tickets, donate, support etc.
61-year fan....I have said in the past (many years ago) we have become mid-major again (see the 70's). The decade of champions was an enjoyable aberration for a small private school. Considering the state of college football today, I no longer see real changes coming. So the choice becomes accept what I cannot change anyway and stay a fan, or play more golf on Saturday's. I love college football; so I choose to stay a Cane without reservation, but that's just me.
