We play them next week, my life...God forbid...depends on the outcome/winner of that game...I’m ridin with the Canes, all the way, all we gotta do is contain their (SoFla QB) from getting broken plays yardage...And therein lies the biggest ridiculousness with Preseason rankings...
Our inauspicious (0-2) start notwithstanding...and even the most ardent, negative, hometown-program hating fans amongst us, can agree to disagree, but we are obviously way better than our (1-2) record would indicate, that being said...life on the line...again. I take our hometown boys to beat any of these teams outright...if we played them next week...
#7 Notre Lame...(they too slow...as usual).
#8 Auburn...(good SEC team, but beatable...toss up).
#9 Florida...(our OLine is already much improved...on the edges).
#10 Utah...(Stop their QB from making broken play yardage, stop, the run...we good).
#11 Michigan...(Not impressed, way overrated).
#12 Texas...(Tough game, but winnable).
#13 Whisky...(They may simply, just have our number...right now).
#14 Penn State...(We beat them, straight up).
#15 UCF...(Toughest game so far...along with Auburn game...toss up).
The rest...(Oregon, Texas A&M, Iowa, Washington State, Boise, Virginia, Washington, Cal, Arizona St., TCU).
