How many of you that call's themself a CFB fan/Former Player does not see the epic disaster at the line we have, the lack of pass rush and disruptive plays, horrible player secltion to start after the Florida game is clueless. There is no way you can watch that game and not see our defense is taught to two gaps, stunt and twist way too much - Blake is to smart for his good. Simple is excellent at this level; beat the man in front of you!
IMO Manny should have been co-running HIS defense this year to train Blake of the timing and execution of the system. Blake is in cover zero with possibly the least athletic DB's SFLA has put out in the last four years. WHY?
There is no way Derrick Smith is less gifted at Saftey than Knowles! Patch starting! Tate ahead of WR's. Freshman, that is hot garbage starting - no way they are better than the senior players.
Welp, the tone is set. The question is, do we make a bowl? No! Manny will have one hell of an initial year. Changes are needed - get money and find dudes that kids will respond because they have credibility!
