Spoke to a parent of a player currently on the team this weekend and it was impressed upon me how elaborate and THICK the defensive play book is. Almost like that of the Seattle Seahawks.
Naturally our defense doesn't even play close to them but it brings up an interesting question: beside the apparent lack of aggressiveness of our defensive play, maybe our scheme is way to complicated?
Can anyone with college experience elaborate on how complicated a typical Division I defense usually is?
