Capitol police for risking their lives and protecting them during the mostly peaceful protest on Jan 6th. These are the same people that have been calling the police racist and allowing them to be assaulted by BLM and ANTIFA over the summer without any support from them whatsoever. These are the same people that are also demanding to "defund the police" in our neighborhoods, but will raise budgets and security in DC. Police and security good for them. Not for you. So typical.

This was an insurrection not a protest. A protest is when people march down the street with signs and chanting slogans for their cause. These people were interested in stopping a democratic election, assaulting politicians, and murdering two of the top 3 people in line to the Presidency.
I love the liberal buzzwords that you can all repeat over and over and over and over. This looks exactly what was happening all summer, well except there weren't any fires or businesses looted, and I was told by the media it was a mostly peaceful protest so I am just being consistent.
More whataboutism. Look, if you don't have the courage or integrity to admit that people attacking the US Capitol and trying to murder the Vice President and Speaker of the House is wrong, then you're probably a lost cause because no amount of evidence can assuage the extent of your moral bankruptcy.

So how did all those windows get broken, merchandise looted, fires started people killed and injured in the peaceful protests in Minnesota, NYC, Chicago, Atlanta, Portland, LA, Seattle, etc, etc. this summer?
You do know people were killed during the insurrections over the summer right? Cops were shot, assaulted, and injured. Businesses were looted and destroyed. Buildings were burnt to the ground. Entire city blocks taken over and occupied like a military invasion. This all went on for months! The liberal media all told us these were mostly peaceful protests. What happened on Jan 6th was no different except it was conservatives doing it. The other difference is our mostly peaceful protest only lasted one day. We had to go back to work the next day.
