According to the GoFundMe account created by his sister:

Jose Manriquez is a 7 year veteran of the Denver Police Department and a 12 year veteran of the Army National Guard but his most important job is taking care of his 4 children and being a loving husband, son, brother, and uncle. Manriquez was given the mandatory COVID vaccine required by the City of Denver. The mandatory mandate stated either get the vaccine or face termination from the job he loves so much!

Manriquez received the mandatory vaccine on August 22, 2021, and immediately started having a bad reaction. Since receiving the vaccine he has not been able to return to work and his future is uncertain. After receiving his vaccine he developed severe tremors and has trouble sleeping due to the amount of pain in his legs. He has fallen a number of times and basically can’t walk.

Then her arms and legs began feeling like they were full of concrete. She then became paralyzed from the waist down. She got something called Transverse Myeletis and it was confirmed that she got it from the vaccine. She will most likely make a full recovery and was sent home this past Fri, but it could take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years before she's back to normal. The only nonsense that I see involves forcing healthy people to take a vaccine, while having the companies that produce it, free from lawsuits over any problems that may arise from taking the Dam Shot.

The problem with this is who is reporting the stats. If a person dies within two weeks of the vaccination, the CDC counts it as an unvaccinated death. I’m not necessarily anti vaccination. I got vaccinated last May, but we are definitely not getting the full truth.

And like I expressed to @majus12, I'm not saying my position of not getting the shot is the right one. It could be a mistake on my part. It's just how I see the situation. I don't think everyone who has received this vaccine is any worse off, but there's a risk to anything you put into your body. On a positive note that we both can agree on, Merck has developed a therapeutic, molnupiravir, that has shown great results in combating Covid hospitalizations and deaths. That and the monoclonal antibody treatments are two solid options moving forward.

BTW, the blood clot issue that killed the Seattle mother has been reported in .9 million that received the J&J shot, and 3.6 million that received the Astra Zeneca shot worldwide.
