A 300K mortgage payment in January around $1400 per month, now it's $1900 per month and climbing. This knocks TONS of young families out of the market. Mortgages will be solidly over 8% by December, maybe higher.

Coming out of the pandemic you walk gently. Measures were already in the pipeline. CONGRESS and Trump had already done relief packages and they needed time to work. There was still nearly 1 Trillion in unspent money left over.

But what did Biden do? He spent with little to no strings attached. Money to families, money to singles, money to people who didn't need money, money to those sitting home on their asses. Money to States who were running supluses, money to shore up poorly run State pension plans, money for health, money for school districts with no rules on how to spend the money, money for businesses who didn't need the money.
In short a BULL IN A CHINA SHOP approach.
All that money out there CHASING FEWER GOODS due to covid. Prices will ALWAYS SOAR when this happens and he was warned.

A complete failure to think things thru ahead of time.
Gas and oil attacks didn't think that thru.
All this spending didn't think that thru.
Baby formula didn't think that thru.
Draining Strategic Reserves not thinking that one thru.

Actions without consideration and I will bet anyone on here that we are in for a WORLD OF PAIN in the coming year.

Here's the other point the nobody brings up - we can not switch fast enough to green to have an effect on the climate so there is no need to cause all this current and future pain for something that the pace means nothing. Proof is 2019 had the lowest emissions in 20 years due to the pandemic yet it had no affect on climate change. We will not be able to match that output for many years but Asia is increasing their green house gases faster then the rest of the world is able to reduce them. So us cutting off our fossil fuels and getting them from elsewhere and requiring more emissions to do so is asinine.
Oh by the way the cost of a Telsa was raised $6,000 today.
