On this rainy Tuesday morning I will share a dream I had after the V-Tech loss.
You know I love the Hurricanes... GO to many basketball games and a select baseball game or two in the spring. So, I'm not "just a football geek"
ESPN Friday night vs. Virginia Tate Martell enters the game... Crowd notices and gets excited. ESPN broadcasters start rattling off Matell's resume.... bla bla bla we all know it.
First play 10yd gain on a short pass. Next play Tate breaks loose and runs for 34 yds and another Hurricane _________. Next play DeeJay runs for 12 and another Hurricane _________. Tate hits JT on a post for 6 and we are off and running. Next possession same thing. Tate runs and Tate passes, offensive is energized and so Is the stadium. Don't need Tate to pass a lot - just his presence is worthy enough to keep the defense on their heels.
We beat UVA and we unveiled a QB to make plays and awake a sleepy, inconsistent offense.
