I just listened to the show and have followed the Canes since the late 80s. I know the defense has been highly rated and that is Manny's claim to fame but based on what. We are in the ACC and have Bethune and others. It is not like we are playing Clemson Bama Georgia and others like in the 90s. If we were and we still weren't giving up points or had great defenses than I would be the first one to say concept is great.
Not saying Manny cant be a great head coach and hope he is but I think we needed help on both offense and defense but get your point on show that it would be hard for Manny to admit or have an elite dc come in.
