Happy Friday, Caniacs!
Tonight our Miami Hurricanes host the Pitt Panthers at The Light in Game 1 of a 3-game series.
Below is from a Thursday night post with stats on the two teams. If U missed it, read on.
Pitt has won 4 straight ACC series: Clemson, Louisville, BC and UVA.
The Panthers lost to WVU at home Wednesday, 3-2 in 11 innings. Committing 4 Es sure didn't help. Per Division1Baseball.com, between the Louisville series and WVU, Pitt lost 6 starters to injuries including all 3 outfielders, SS and 3B. They expect some, if not all, back this weekend, so we need to keep an eye on that.
Enjoy!
