I have been told that Mario Cristobal has not been contacted in any way by UM.
After 5 weeks and interviewing numerous former player, you would think they would have had some discussions with him. If the committee is doing due diligence, you would think that 5 weeks in to the process they would be further along. Prime candidates may be taking other jobs.
I am begining to think that UM is botching the search in typical fashion. Beaurocratically going through things wasting time and not doing it's job.
Whether you want Mario Cristobal as head coach or not, he has been identified as a candidate and they should be way further along. I am not saying to rush the process,m but it seems the committee and the university are more interested in the process than the outcome.
