Does any of the UM shot callers have any freaking clue how bad the optics are when they.......
Get publicly called out and embarrassed by Kirk Herbstreit on national TV and deservedly so. Which BTW was widely applauded and embraced by the UM fan base
Then fire Blake likely because they were shamed publicly and declare a new way of doing business for the football program, promising to provide more money
Then drag their feet hiring an AD, while other programs are firing and hiring coaches within hours??
Manny lost the majority of the fan base weeks ago. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see that, but does UM's shot callers see that??
WE are the customers and consumers of UM football, buying tickets and traveling to games which provides the program with revenue. We've been irrelevant for 20 yrs, do they not see they are on the verge of running us all off by keeping the status quo and not finishing the job they started when they fired Blake?
Why would they fire Blake and even entertain the possibility of retaining Manny when Blake was fired for Manny's hiring and poor coaching over 3 yrs??
It looks to me that if they keep Manny, the fan base will revolt, morale and behavior will hit levels never seen before here.
Then they will likely fire Manny before the end of the 2022 season, only to have the fan base say "I told you so, you dumb MF's" and national pundits to say "They still lack competent leadership and decision makers at that place"
