I'm sorry, but I can't get in the camp of those
that are pushing this narrative that the team
"fought hard, didn't quit, etc"

When you see players make the conscious
decision to throw a shoulder into a ball
carrier, instead of breaking down, brininging
your legs as you run thru and wrap up the
man with the ball, that is the textbook
definition OF NOT PLAYING HARD!

lazily jogging after runners, letting Howell
run thru us as if he were Lamar Jax is again
the true definition of NOT CARING ENOUGH.

Now what's even more troubling is that if
we as fans see it, then of course the players
see it..... And *IF* this team was actually
playing hard, fighting, not quitting, etc then
there would be players getting in the faces of
the repeat offenders and demanding they
quit this phuckery......the problem is that there is waaaaay too many players that consistently do this. This si why we are statistically the worst tackling team in the country

Defense is Alignment+Assignment+Effort

EFFORT is non negotiable, you can have Saban
calling the D, but if players aren't giving effort
then nothing else matters......

Watch any film of us on defense, never do you
see 9,10,11 hats around the ball, on the screen,
it looks more like a spring practive where guys are giving 65% effort...... Diaz Shouid have put these lazy, non caring dudes on the bench, so he is A1 PRIME TARGET for blame...... But the players are also accountable, I guarantee
players like Reed, Lewis, Sapp, and on and on
X 1000 other former players would have never
allowed this to happen on their side of the ball

Feel free to share your opinion, tell me I'm
wrong, I just cannot stamp this team as
one that is "fighting hard".....
