Oh I thought my point was made. whataboutism makes you ask why Biden's son isn't doing what Trump's sons are doing.
Logically, you might ask why Trump's sons, who are literally running the business he hasn't divested in, are campaigning for him. If it is implicit that Biden son's compensation results from his relationship with dad, wouldn't Trump's son's be subject to the same scrutiny? Of course they would if whatboutism was applied, hell if logic was applied.
Fact is Biden's living son and his daughter have not been part of his campaigns in the past. As folks are so fond of pointing out Biden has been around 40 odd years, how many times did Hunter campaign in the past?

Not historically true at all, at least in context of the constitution. The founders didn’t even quit their jobs when they took office. George Washington was still a farmer. The emoluments clause doesn’t cover business prior to holding office.
Actually no ellu, If pure subjective logic was applied you would see the difference between a career politician that now owns numerous homes and made $$$$$ from exposure, whose son used access to a real time VP, rather than a son who is running an already extremely successful company, that was and is successful BEFORE he took office.
