This loss falls squarely on the defense, Blake Baker and Special Teams. The OL was ok, but was easily good enough to win. If you’re blaming any of this on Jarren Williams my shoes size is larger than your football IQ.

Defensive secondary was in a single high safety look on every play where we got gashed. We stunted into double teams on the DL and Ford was ineffective all night long. We werent gap sound even when we were pushing the pocket. I Love Strouds story but so far as a coach he needs to show me more. Patke is right up there with a Searles for me. The safeties have been out of position all game. They’re young but what the hell? Banda better get his sh-t together too! The whole defensive staff better. That was an unacceptable performance.
On a positive note next year (worst case scenario) we return 17/22 starters.
