What’s wrong with 7.55 yards per carry? That’s what Cam had and we were running the ball very well. Why not run a little more?
Why did 34 play so much? I understand 56 got hurt and 53 is red shirting, but why no Sam brooks? Why no carter or Frierson slid into LBer? I realize they don’t play the position but wouldn’t a few blow coverages or something be worth it compared to a kid who was just way outclassed and didn’t belong on the field?
Why are we switching kickers back and forth during the game? Let the nerd kick the PATs and have Baxa kick field goals. To miss 3 FGs all 30 yards or less is not unacceptable, it’s impossible.
Can someone explain the rule to me where the QB was getting sacked by 56 in the end zone and fumbled the ball forward to the 1 to prevent the safety? Can any ball carrier just throw the ball forward out of bounds and get additional yardage? I honestly don’t understand the rule. And before anyone says forward progress, I would be fine with that, but that was not what they called. They called a fumble and marked where it went out.
Who calls a double reverse in the red zone?
How many screen passes should be called in one game? That’s a play that should be used strategically to slow down a pass rush, not one to run multiple times per drive.
If every person in the world knows a fake punt is coming how does Ivey get smoked on a go route where he looks like he gives zero fuks by some dude whose 40 time is measured in Mississippi’s.
How does Patke have a job when Miami has the worst special teams in all of college football?
What the hell happened to Jonathan Garvin? He is a non factor to be polite.
Why does 15 ever leave the field on defense?
Why does 15 play nose tackle on pass downs? He is our best pass rusher off the edge. Why put him in traffic?
I can’t think of a set of circumstances that would result in normally taking 2 or 3 timeouts into the half or the end of a game. As bad as our special teams are, why not take a timeout before the fake punt?
