I am not ready to give up on either Manny, Enos, or the team.

I was very discouraged (and very bored) at what I saw at the Central Michigan game. The same mistakes. The same offensive problems. The same frustrations.

My biggest concern with the team right now is it doesn't seem to have an identity. When I look at Alabama, I see an identity with Tua. Clemson with Trevor. Oklahoma with Jalen. Georgia with Fromm. OSU now with Fields. LSU now with Burrow. These teams the QB-OC relationship is there good to go. Wisconsin, well they just run and are physically imposing.

What is the identity with Jarren and Enos and this offense? We have none. Hence, the problem. I don't think this offensive line is as bad as people think. In my opinion, the problem is starting the freshmen tackles, then sometimes we are spread, then sometimes we are power run, then sometimes we are this, then sometimes we are that, ja...? All over the place.

I think that Enos is still figuring out his offensive personnel; I still think Jarren is still figuring out what Enos really wants to do, and the freshmen tackles are young. First time OC, first time starting QB, first time HC, freshmen tackles... There is no cohesiveness between OC-QB-LT-RT so no offensive identity.

I cannot say I am surprised; but I am disappointed that progress has been slow, success has been minimal, and as a result we are 2-2. I will try to reserve judgment until the end of the season. The bye week comes at a much needed time before a must win game against VT to keep the Coastal Division hopes alive.
