Bro I used to spend a lot of summers visiting fellow Norwegian family friends in the Chicago area when I was a kid. Beautiful American city. It’s gone to shit now thanks to Lightfoot and groups like BLM. BLM is a con job like Antifa and Proud Boys and almost all of these laughable movement groups. The “leaders” work over the masses to enrich themselves in wealth and power while sowing seeds of division and hate. It’s disgusting and dangerous. Uhmmm, let's see now, maybe focus our efforts on the criminals, they're the guys at the back end of the gun. My solution: Arrest criminals, get the Liberal prosecutors to prosecute them, confiscate the criminals' guns! Gun control at its very best. Then, maybe elect Conservatives as mayor of those cities most affected ...meaning all major American cities...by the Liberalization of crime. ps- After 13 months of Liberals screaming to defund the police Liberals have found a way to flop their position. Increase funding for the Police. Do the opposite of what these liberal mayors are doing and that should breed success.

That's true and it's totally due to a complete lack of trust. I feel that lack of trust is well founded. The Left could promise to look to limit the ownership of certain weapons and, once accomplished would 'change their mind' and increase the scope of their effort. I'm noy going to list the various penalties but in order to be a law-abiding gun owner in the state of Illinois you must abide by some pretty strict regulations and the state has severely increased penalties for anyone caught in violation of its gun laws. I asked for your solution and you answered, "3 strikes law for gun offenses". The state of Illinois meets or surpasses your solution.
