if they built /moved in to a smaller stadium with around 30k in capacity. They could then raise prices and make tickets initially available to alum and long-time season ticket holders (probably alum). The "#don't be a fan later" crowd or those who only care about the football program would be weeded out and after a few years or a generation or two, would begin rooting for UF, FSU, maybe even FIU, or whoever is hot at the moment. Not a knock on FIU, I just know that a lot of their alum have never been to a single game despite receiving an almost free education from a respectable school. No loyalty or pride. At that point media should have less influence on fan base (made up almost entirely of alum) and coaches would have a proper amount of time to groom a few recruiting classes and build the program up from scratch. Media always plays the result as their focus is to get people to read or subscribe to content.
