In the last quarter, of the last game, at the end of disappointing and dishartening, the defense made the most spirited and impressive defensive stand of the entire year and the offensive line dominated the line of scrimmage on a long TD drive when the game was still in doubt.
These things do not happen if a team gas quit.

We did not play with nearly the same intensity in the second half than the first, but our approach was just as aggressive on defense in the second half, it just wasn't as effective. I reviewed the game several times and saw no convincing evidence to support the notion that we folded our tents,
