You pay $4million to Temple to bring back the above avg DC( not great or Elite) who is not a recruiter AT ALL to be HC without even seeing what other MORE HIGHLY QUALIFIED HCs want this job. And You do this in RECORD TIME. I mean this is what they said they were not going to do. Gary even said ITS NO WAY THEY DO THIS AGAIN AFTER GETTING BURNT TWICE. After Randy they didn’t want another coordinator but a coach with HC experience. Then after Golden you say u want a HC who had major power 5 success over a number of years( which was a lie also considering they were going to hire Schiano over Mullen). So you go backwards and then you give the above avg DC who u made HC ,who can’t recruit , a 5 YEAR CONTRACT.
It’s like I’m literally getting punked . Like I’m literal getting punched in the face. Flights from Phil to Miami round trip , Hotel, Car and game tickets As well merchandise purchases and donations avg about $4,000-$8,000 from sept- November each yr.
