I just read the post about the scrimmage and I'm excited. I don't see how a team with the following can't win the ACC Coastal. It's almost impossible...
QB - All Freshman Brad Kaaya
RB - deep and talented group led by Gus Edwards and Joseph Yearby
WR - Mr. NFL Rashawn Scott to go with Herb Waters, Braxton Berrios... this group is deep
TE - this group, as a whole, is better than last year. Njoku, Herndon, and Stan should be > Clive
OL - this group does concern me. I like Linder, Isidora, and Darling a whole bunch. KC's a mystery. Joe Brown could be a road grader but I'll wait and see. The rest? ????
DE - AQM and Thomas... should be more than enough
DT - meh
LB - Kirby, McCord, Owens, Grace... lots of good, solid talent... need the newbies to step up too
DB - TONS of talent here. Elder, Howard and Artie are fantastic. Mix in Rayshawn Jenkins, Deon Bush and Jamal Carter and you have a backfield that actually looks like a Miami Hurricane defense
K is solid
Coaching - this is the only thing that sucks big time. They're so incompetent it's laughable.
This team has talent, depth and experience. There is NO REASON THEY SHOULDN'T WIN THE COASTAL AND MORE.
It's all on al and his band of merry men.
