I’ve mentioned this before but my sons good friend played and started 3 years for Kiffin as a TE/ Hback.
I had a party at my house and I asked him about Kiffin. He said he wasn’t well respected by players or coaches. Said he routinely missed team meetings and showed up late for practice.
He did say he was an offensive genius and great play caller.
But do we really want to hitch our wagon to this guy given his history?
We can’t afford another miss or scandal w him at the helm.
No way for me. We need a hard ass and a proven leader.
