As the euphoria fades from Mario's hiring. As reality sets in that Rome wasn't built in a day, I see the future of this team slowly evolving to being a national contender. You don't bring Freshmen in here and expect them to suddenly right the team. You need experienced and talented O linemen which take a couple of years to reach their best playing status. But what you can see gradually is a better disciplined defense ,a better running game and a team that starts to slowly separate itself from the ACC pack. The talent level should start to slowly shift to game changers if we start winning and I expect that to start happening next year. It takes a strong recruiter and coach to break out of the Catch 22 loop of winning vs recruiting .That is going to be the key towards better days.
