finally, golden's grossly lowered expectation for the team is taking hold and some players are embracing the low goals. unfortunately, one is kaaya and he is the offensive leader.

i understand if someone says: "we want to win one game at a time" but the implication is you will win all your games. golden isn't about national championships, winning the acc, or all the games. he wants to compete for the coastal division.

he thinks it grand if Miami wins the coastal which may appear tempting to some because its been 13 years since Miami has competed as a premier or elite college football team. but so long as the coaches goals are so low as to hope to win the coastal division of the acc, this team will train and have the mental toughness it takes to compete in the coastal division but not against top 20 teams.

imo, our assistant coaches will coach to the low expectations set by their leader. the players will sink to that low expectation because the guy driving the team doesn't see himself or his team as national powers. golden sees Miami as competitors in the coastal and if we are lucky, really lucky, Miami takes the coastal. my how things have changed.
