This is not about Republicans or Democrats, this is about human behavior. I was born and raised in New York. I've been a Knicks, Yankees, and NY Giants fan since the mid 60s. I became a Cane in 72. I'd say I'm an avid sports fan who has done my share of trash talking and absorbed plenty of it in my time. I'm disgusted that someone at MSG spit on Trae Young. I don't like the kid, ( because he kills the Knicks every time they face him) but I wish he was playing for my team. Buying a ticket does not entitle you to spit on someone. It is a classless act and it disparaged the entire Knicks fan base. I'm feeling pretty shitty about this after what should have been a very uplifting win.

Oh come on MahoneyHall1972. You have gone soft! No problem with you feeling shitty about the situation but I disagree with you on two things:
  1. Enjoy the moment. Knicks haven't won a playoff game in 8 years. Who knows how many more of these we will get to enjoy.
  2. The act of 1 classless douche doesn't represent the entire knicks fan base. On the other hand, the entire stadium chanting "Trae is balding" or "F Trae Young" is a pretty good representation of them

Who ever did that should be banned from attending future Knick games. However after attending many games at the OB, the Florida State vs. Miami crowds stood out. There were more fights, puked on and urinated on fans and families attending those games more times than I could remember.
A special remembrance was parking a couple of blocks from the OB in someone's front yard, walking to the stadium with my two young sons, when police busted some guy right next to us for selling drugs. I remember that we were on our way to attend a V.T. game. Every home game back then was taking a chance that family members wouldn't see something that had you shaking your head.
