My gripe is you have racist in capacities that did and does hinder black progress. Please do some research about how the land allotted for blacks was stolen and never given. Marijuana became illegal because it"made white women want to listen to jazz and have sex with black men " thats a direct quote from a former government official who put marijuana on the list equal to heroin where it still remains. Im not saying woe is me but there needs to be a atonement for deeds done. That would go a long way to economic empowerment and better decisions and family structure for black families. Living in the past because its still affecting the present. And your attitude is the reason why its still affecting the present.Thats what allows government to do the things they do. These laws are still a problem and that needs to be fixed and amended.

Pot should have been legalized decades ago...thats a nonsense law....i agree coke and heroin should be banned...but almost all of the people drink alcohol and that's ok....

Please look up his quotes. His policies and rhetoric were aimed at destroying people of color. His finger prints are still all over prison populations in America right now. I get that it's uncomfortable for some but please think for yourselves. There are still men that speak this way and have the same beliefs and they make policy that governs people they hate and despise for no other reason than skin color. Our government can fix these issues but it would help bring people together so they don't. The game is to keep the middle class and poor people locked in battle so the elite can maneuver how they please. And unfortunately a lot of officers have this same disdain for people of color.
