It is going to give up big plays. Plain and simple. There will be guys on an island. Any halfway decent receiver will get open if you give them a few seconds on an island. If we blitz and miss it is over vs an athletic, elusive QB.
I think we are doing fine there on defense. I don't see a lot of silly penalties and I see guys making tackles. The assignments can be fixed. We are playing upfield much better although we overmatch them.
What I don't care for is our kicking game. WTF man this dude may have swag but good kickers don't miss 33 yard field goals and kick it short so much. Get the ball in the end zone more!
I love playing with a physical fullback and good tight ends. I am hoping our recievers hang on to the ball a bit better. I love our running game.
