Live Game Thread: Miami Baseball At FIU

Miami gets on the scoreboard with a fielding error, but FIU gets a run of their own with a single.

Score tied at one after one.
 
Back and forth affair between Miami and FIU.

Dorian Gonzalez hit a sac fly RBI and singles Jason Torres and Carlos Perez to added three more runs for the Canes in the third inning. Perez's single led to an unearned run due to an error.

Miami led 4-1.

FIU scored three more runs by way of singles, two unearned in the bottom of the third to make it a 4-4 game.

The Canes struck again in the fourth inning with two more unearned runs. Cuvet scored Long on a sac fly, and JD Urso stole home.

FIU bounced back again with runs in the 4th and 5th. Frett for FIU homered in the 5th which ultimately caused Crowther to exit the game.

Crowther pitched 4.1 innings, allowing six runs on eight hits, one strikeout, and three walks.
