They are playing better than their 5-3 record suggests.

I thought that at the beginning of the season, this was going to be a 50-50 game because I thought Louisville would improve under first year HC Satterfield, who is a hell of an offensive mind, and a good up and coming younger coach. 3 double digit win seasons at App State as HC. 3-0 in Bowls.

He comes to Louisville, and of course they struggle first game out of the gate against Notre Dame, but since then they have reeled off some impressive performances. Hung 41 on BC and 62 on that same Wake team which is currently the second highest ranked ACC team in the country.

I saw the Florida State loss, and that was a bad one. Their only other loss is Clemson. So, 2 out of 3 losses have come against top-15 teams, while they have beaten a B- BC, B Wake Forest, and B-/B UVA...

Inconsistent, yes. Flawed, yes. Defense often suspect, yes... But this is a dangerous offensive team which has continued to improve all season under Satterfield. And they're coming off a bye when all they did was watch our game and take notes during it.

This Louisville game will be all hands on deck, and present a far greater challenge than FSU in my honest opinion. This team needs to quickly shift its focus from FSU to Louisville.
